Shopping Carts Don't Fix Broken Hearts: A Journey Inward

Nelieta Hollis

Have you been caught in the cycle of retail therapy, hoping a new wardrobe might chase away the blues? You're not alone. I recently found myself filling shopping carts, seeking transformation through purchases, only to discover that nothing felt truly luxurious or glamorous while I remained mentally and emotionally undernourished.

True luxury goes far deeper than designer labels. When we break down the word "glamorous," we discover something profound: "glam" relates to magic and divine transformation, "amour" means love, and "ous" means full of. Authentic glamour is about being filled with love and divine beauty that transforms us from the inside out – not through the world's standards, but through soul-deep healing.

• Healing is layered – involving mental peace, emotional regulation, spiritual clarity

• Dress your soul before your body through spiritual practices and self-forgiveness

• You don't have to be fully healed to live beautifully – just be honest and intentional

Love yourself a little more than you did yesterday, and go get glam intentionally.

I pray that the roots of setbacks, storms, satanic attacks, and even self-sabotage erode, crumble, and wither away, to be replaced by the incorruptible strength, peace, and joy that only heaven can give that will neither change nor fade.
