I pray that the roots of setbacks, storms, satanic attacks, and even self-sabotage erode, crumble, and wither away, to be replaced by the incorruptible strength, peace, and joy that only heaven can give that will neither change nor fade.
We believe in you. We have faith in you. I love you, Mom. I found that sentiment way down in the notes list on my iPad, written by my youngest daughter when she was just seven years old. I stumbled upon this note during a particularly dark period in my life, a time when my faith in myself was wavering and the weight of the world felt unbearable. Finding that note became the hidden treasure of my heart. I was at a crossroads, grappling with self-doubt and uncertainty. Yet here was this profound declaration of faith from my child, reminding me that, even when I couldn't see my own worth, someone else did. It was a lifeline thrown to me in a moment of need. That note did more than just comfort me, constant listener. It ignited a spark and it became my beacon of hope. During a very dark time when we were lost in the fog of self-doubt, the voices of those who believe in us cut through the gloom and illuminate our will to move forward. That note on that evening propelled me forward, knowing she was counting on me to succeed. Constant listener, who is counting on you?
Speaker 1:It's July 10th, 2024, and you are tuned into another episode of Ways to Win Wednesday. On One Degree to Victory, I am your hostess with the mostest, Melita Hollis, and you are welcome in this room. It's time to lock in, load up and lean in. That means reduce your distractions, gather your mental and emotional energy and direct that energy to today's topic, belief. First. We are kicking things off with our new segment In View, where you find out what's happening on the One Degree to Victory platform. There's so much newness right now, and my new course, Limitations to Liberation, is designed for everyone. Plug in your limiting belief, chart its origins, craft a statement, create an action plan and begin to live intentionally from that space. For $27, you get 30-day access to a seven-less lesson guided course, complete with downloadable thought organizers that you can print and use again and again. Right along with that is the free, pre-recorded webinar. Where is my stuff? It's based on the work of Drs Tedeschi and Calhoun. I take the concept of post-traumatic growth as I interpret it, combine it with some beautiful thought organizers and walk you through your own self-discovery session. Listen, you are seeking answers, just as I was, and these two resources are great starting points. Head over to onedegreeegreeToVictorycom and access both today.

Speaker 1:Now let's dive into the topic of belief. Constant listeners, someone believes in you. When you have trouble believing in yourself, you have to push through, even though you feel like you can't make it. You have to rise up against the despair. I didn't know how I was going to do, what needed doing. Heck, at that point, I didn't know what to do. I didn't have a plan. I just knew I had to do something because my kids believed in me. In those moments of doubt, you must allow the voice of belief to become your anchor. Let it ground your mind and keep your thoughts focused on the task ahead even as you move through the storm. Focused on the task ahead. Even as you move through the storm, when the winds of uncertainty blow and the waves of fear crash over you, that voice reminding you of your worth and your potential is your anchor. It will help you stay on course, keep your head above water and your spirit intact of water and your spirit intact.
Speaker 1:There is another who has prayed for you and who has prayed for us all. In fact, I'm going to ask you, like the preachers during a Sunday morning service, can I prove it to you with the word? And it reads Simon, stay on your toes. This is from the message version. Satan has tried his best to separate all of you from me like chaff from wheat. Simon, I've prayed for you in particular, that you not give in or give out my Lord, when you have come through the time of testing, turn to your companions and give them a fresh start. Reading now from the King James Version and the Lord said Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat, but I have prayed for thee that thy faith fail not and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Now I want to say this when you come through not if not, should, Not maybe, but when you come through what a powerful declaration of inevitable triumph.
Speaker 1:Constant listeners Consider this fact as you're going through, that Jesus has prayed for you. This is no ordinary prayer. It is the intercession of the Son of God, the Creator Himself. Jesus' prayers permeate and flow with divine authority and certainty when he prays for your faith not to fail, it means that, despite the trials and tribulations you might face, it means that, despite the trials and tribulations you might face, there is a divine assurance, If you allow it, if you continue, if you fail, not that you will persevere. The phrase. That phrase when you come through is an inevitable declaration of victory. This certainty is rooted in the fact that Jesus has already interceded on your behalf. The challenges and adversities you face are not permanent roadblocks. They're temporary obstacles. The assurance that you will come through is a promise that you are destined for victory, not defeat. Jesus tells Simon that once he has come through his trials, he is to strengthen his brothers. Your journey through adversity and my journey, listen, it is not for our own growth and development, but also for the benefit of others and ultimately for his glory. And as I remind you, I remind myself that God sees the end from the beginning. He knows the outcome of our trials and he has already prepared a way for us to emerge victoriously.
Speaker 1:Constant listener, beautiful soul, the sad reality is that most people believe the lies they are seeing. They believe they are always going to be homeless, they are always going to be in that dead-end job, that they don't have the skills or aptitude to learn, to grow and to be better. Even in a world where there are always dichotomy, there are always two sides to every coin black and white, truth and lies, hate and love, yin and yang. Apostle Hilliard said in every situation there is a life and a death option. I chose to believe what my kids saw and live what Jesus prayed. I chose life. Beautiful souls, I pray you do the same. Listen. Don't forget to go to our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages. Like and follow, Share it because I like that, and remember beautiful souls to love yourself a little more than you did yesterday. I love y'all. I gotta go.
